The Sr Coordinator aids in the coordination and scheduling of all downtime and reduced throughput related activities including Regulatory PM requirements at Plants and Facilities as well as Pipeline Integrity, Construction, and Encroachment projects on all key Intrastate Natural Gas assets.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Monitor scheduled projects, provide all affected parties’ timely updates and notify, as needed any project schedule changes to ensure coordinated optimization, minimal system impact and avoid scheduling conflicts.
  • Maintain and distribute a maintenance schedule with weekly distribution updates, as well as maintain the online maintenance calendar in company SharePoint site, and provide prior, ongoing, and post project notifications.
  • Ensure the accuracy of Downtime Requests (DTR’s) for upcoming projects by correctly identifying maintenance activities and commercial impacts on all Pipelines, Compressor Stations and Processing Plants.
  • Review current maintenance/project specifics with Gas Control, Commercial Representatives, and Scheduling group as needed to ensure proper gas volume scheduling, accurate throughput forecasting, and imbalance management for producers and downstream pipes.
  • Post "Project Status Updates" as needed to all internal and external customers.
  • Periodic travel to attend quarterly project meetings with Operations and/or Third Party Stakeholders to review and discuss the coordination of annual project schedules, maintenance related activities and potential commercial implications.
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Education and/or Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job duty satisfactorily. The requirements for this position are listed below: 

  • HS Diploma or its equivalent
  • 2+ years of relevant experience. Natural gas field operations, compression, processing and scheduling experience preferred
  • Must have strong organizational skills
  • Must have strong verbal and written skills
  • Must possess multitasking capabilities
  • Must have computer proficiency in Excel, Word, Projects, Outlook, and SharePoint
  • Must be able to be on call to respond to emergency Downtime Requests after hours, weekends, and holidays as events demand
Working Conditions:

The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. 

  • Usually, normal office working conditions. 
  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time due to prolonged periods of sitting or standing. 
  • Occasional overnight travel may be required. 
  • Occasional visits to industrial/manufacturing settings, which may include exposure to various materials and chemicals, as well as extreme temperature conditions and loud machinery, and require appropriate personal protective equipment.
