Sr Engineer – Compression Applications
Required education or minimum level:
- High school diploma or College degree
Experience:
- College Degree with 7 years of relevant experience or 7-10 + years of relevant job experience
Software Knowledge:
- Ariel Performance Program
- CAT GERP (Gas Engine Rating Pro)
- Waukesha ENGCALC
- Proficient in Excel and Access, Microsoft Office and other required software.
Skills:
- Familiar with a variety of the Field’s concepts, practices and procedures.
- Experience with high speed separable compressor package content.
- Knowledge of packaging compressors, layout and design
- Excellent writing and organizational skills.
- Able to work under pressure in fast-pace manufacturing environment and able to work independently.
- Statistical and spreadsheet analytical skills.
- Team player with integrity, interpersonal, organization and time management skills.

Usually, normal office working conditions.
Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time due to prolonged periods of sitting or standing.
Occasional overnight travel may be required.
Occasional visits to industrial/manufacturing settings, which may include exposure to various materials and chemicals, as well as extreme temperature conditions and loud machinery, and require appropriate personal protective equipment.
