Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering. 
Mechanical Engineering preferred.
Expected to have knowledge of 49 CFR 192, ASME B31.8, API, and AGA. 
Industry experience in engineering, design and operation of natural gas transmission systems. 
Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and MS Projects.
Must have the ability to learn vendor sizing and selection programs for control valves, regulators, and relief valves, pipeline flow calculations, load stress calculations, area of reinforcement calculations, use of the Timberline cost estimating program, and other engineering related programs.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.  
Excellent analytical and organizational skills. 
Preferred Skills:
Registered Florida PE or Florida Engineer in Training, with aspirations toward becoming a FL Registered Professional Engineer. 
Experience in Design of Gas facilities, AutoCAD proficiency, is a plus.
 
Special Characteristics/Job Requirements:
Self-starter with the ability to work with minimal supervision.  Able to handle multiple projects simultaneously in an environment of changing priorities, reporting, and regulatory requirements.  Must be able to manage time, conflicting and changing priorities, work in a team environment and assist team members as required.  Deals frequently with a wide range of contacts including technical, operations, risk management, contractors, vendors, attorneys, and various levels of management.  Must be able to work extended hours and/or days and to meet strict deadlines.  Travel to field locations for assignments will require overnight stays (approximately 20%).  Incumbent will be required to take and pass a pre-employment drug test, and is subject to a pre-employment background check.  Must have a valid US drivers license.
