Sr Engineer - Measurement
Summary:
Provide technical expertise for the Energy Transfer Measurement Function.
Responsibilities:
- Develops, designs, and performs various measurement engineering duties and responsibilities.
- Prepares specifications and procures materials and equipment for a timely and efficient execution of projects.
- Provides technical engineering support
- Performs cost tracking and status reporting for assigned projects.
- Manages multiple projects simultaneously within a managed budget and execution schedule.
- Follows all safety rules and guidelines as established by the Measurement Department.
- Designs, specifies, and procures materials and equipment for projects.
- Ensures compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Reduces potential risk to public safety and environment and minimize company liability.
Requirements:
- BS in Mechanical, Civil, Chemical, or related engineering degree
- 5+ years experience in engineering and project management required.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent PC skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and capable of taking initiative and making decisions is required
- Effective analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong attention to detail, with the ability to proof work for accuracy
- In-depth knowledge of linear programming, terminal/pipeline processing, and terminal/pipeline optimization economics required
- Ability to work independently with little supervision as well as possess the capability to work efficiently in a team environment required
- Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks and projects concurrently, managing time and scheduling to meet appropriate deadlines
