Sr Quality Safety Specialist
Skills / Capabilities and Education
High School diploma or GED
Bachelor’s degree, ASP, CSP, or related field experience is preferred.
5 years of experience in the health and safety profession, heavy manufacturing experience preferred.
Working proficiency with MS Office
Knowledge of safety management systems, ISNetworld, and Veriforce preferred.
Previous experience and direct involvement in driving change in safety culture within an organization
Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills and can effectively interact with all levels of internal and external personnel.
Detail oriented, with ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
Strong organizational skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and display a sense of urgency and strong customer service.
Displays good judgment, maintains confidentiality, as needed, and makes sound decisions.
Working Conditions:

Lifting up to 50 lbs. occasionally
Driving, walking, and standing frequently.
Travel, estimated at 10%, may be required
Audits of industrial/manufacturing settings, which may include exposure to various materials and chemicals, as well as extreme temperature conditions and loud machinery, and require appropriate personal protective equipment.
