Sr Representative - Sales
Education and/or Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job duty satisfactorily. The requirements for this position are listed below:
High School Diploma or GED.
Minimum of 8 years of Outside Sales experience in the field or in a related area.
Must have computer skills i.e. Microsoft office, and/or required software
Requires detailed knowledge with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the particular field and knowledge of the manufactured product and services while serving as the company representative
Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
Excellent communication skills, self-motivated, self-starter, sense of urgency, personable, extroverted personality, well organized
Ability to communicate and resolve issues in a professional and tactful manner
Ability to handle problems and facilitate successful outcomes
Ability to determine appropriate courses of action in more complex situations that may be not addressed by existing policies, procedures or protocols
Decisions include such matters as changes in policy and regulations, order in which work is done, and application of established procedures
Ability to travel up to 50% of the time
Preferred QualificationsBachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Business, or at least five years' experience in the energy industry.

Working Conditions
The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
Work within office, assembly and fabrication shop, and field environments.
Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time due to prolonged periods of sitting or standing.
Travel, will be required.
Exposure to adverse weather, cramped conditions and some heavy lifting up to 50 pounds.
Visits to industrial/manufacturing settings, which may include exposure to various materials and chemicals, as well as extreme temperature conditions and loud machinery, and require appropriate personal protective equipment.
