  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT business related field or additional equivalent experience.
  • 5 - 8 years related work experience with a record of increasing responsibilities.

  • Development experience with the following:

    • Strong object oriented design

    • Microsoft Visual Studio (2010+) [Team Foundation Server experience a plus]

    • .NET Framework 3.0+ including experience with the EntityFramework 6.0

    • ASP.NET MVC [C#] including IIS7+

    • VB.NET [for legacy applications]

    • Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio (SQL 2012 and higher)

    • Microsoft T-SQL [Oracle PL-SQL a plus]

    • HTML, JavaScript including jQuery 

    • SQL Server Reporting Services [SSRS]

    • Web Services supporting JSON and oData

    • Experience with responsive development with frameworks such as BootStrap
    • Experience with mobile development frameworks such as Xamarin or Telerik

  • Significant knowledge of client server and internet systems architectures

  • Knowledge in various design methodologies and object oriented environments

  • Demonstrated ability to work with complex database concepts and design implications

  • Understands browser specific compatibility issues

  • Creates well designed, reusable code

  • Strong interpersonal and team skills including the ability to positively interface with vendors and contractors, IT, user management, and peers.

  • Able to gather and document detailed requirements through customer interviews and systems analysis to qualify and quantify purchased applications or new development projects.

  • Good organization skills with ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks and projects concurrently while achieving deadlines and effectively communicating project status.

  • Be a proactive, solution-oriented self-starter with the ability to quickly assemble the big picture.

  • Possess a strong sense of urgency.

  • Effective oral and written communication skills, including strong technical communications skills to effectively interface with both business and IT Personnel.  Must be able to translate technical solutions into business solutions.

  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills including crisis management and resolution.

  • Prefer refined products and butane blending industry knowledge and experience, especially with Document Management and Operations applications

Working Conditions:

The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.

* Usually, normal office working conditions.

* Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time due to prolonged periods of sitting or standing.

* Occasional overnight travel may be required.

* Occasional visits to industrial/manufacturing settings, which may include exposure to various materials and chemicals, as well as extreme temperature conditions and loud machinery, and require appropriate personal protective equipment.
