Sr. Specialist - Application Support
Requirements:
Education and/or Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job duty satisfactorily.
The requirements for this position are listed below:
- 5+ years of general IT experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or related field
- Equivalent experience and demonstrated equivalent competency in lieu of the bachelor's degree
- Experience with ERP accounting platforms (Such as PDI, SAP, Oracle, etc.)
- Experience with Windows and Windows Server; IIS, FTP, SQL, basic security concepts, Batch / PowerShell, etc.
- Understands HTML, XML, web services, etc
- Both understands and can write complex SQL queries / stored procedures with complex table relationships
- Ability to write and debug automation scripts using languages such as Python, PowerShell, Windows Batch, Bash, etc
- Ability to work both independently as well as part of a team
Working Conditions:
The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
- Usually, normal office working conditions.
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time due to prolonged periods of sitting or standing.
- Occasional overnight travel may be required.
- Occasional visits to industrial/manufacturing settings, which may include exposure to various materials and chemicals, as well as extreme temperature conditions and loud machinery, and require appropriate personal protective equipment.
