Requirements:  Education and/or expereience, knowledge, skills & abilities:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job duty satisfactorily. The requirements for this position are listed below:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or other technical related discipline 
  • 6+ years of related experience
  • Demonstrated knowledge and application of appropriate engineering and construction standards and practices
  • Demonstrated knowledge of procurement techniques, principles, policies, procedures, systems, standards and practices
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment with multiple concurrent assignments
  • Must be detail oriented with good organizational skills
  • Ability to communicate and assist in the resolution of issues in a professional manner
  • Must be able to interface effectively with all levels of internal and external personnel
  • Must be a team player and self-motivated with a high level of energy
  • Strong knowledge of pipeline and/or pipeline facility construction
  • Knowledgeable of oil and gas engineering principals, standards and specifications and industry and regulatory rules and regulations pertaining to the 49 CFR Parts 192 and 195 for pipelines and related facilities plus other industry standards (API, ASME, NACE), guidelines and codes.
  • Must have strong computer skills including Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and web based applications

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Previous experience on large capital projects preferred

Working Conditions: 

  • Usually, normal office working conditions.
  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time due to prolonged periods of sitting or standing. 
  • Travel required including occasional overnight travel.  
  • Occasional visits to industrial/manufacturing settings which may include hazardous materials and chemicals, as well as extreme temperature conditions and loud machinery, and require appropriate personal protective equipment.
