  • Possess a thorough knowledge of operations and maintenance of electrical systems associated with natural gas compressors and auxiliary equipment.
  • 5+ years of related experience.
  • Above average hardware and software computer skills necessary to support the equipment
  • Above average analytical skills necessary to identify, evaluate machinery performance and condition levels utilizing diagnostic equipment.
  • Possess excellent knowledge of safety procedures and regulatory requirements associated with electrical systems and rotating equipment in the natural gas industry.
  • Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills and excellent human relations skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of Company procedures, Industry-related safety standards and applicable Federal and State regulations.
  • Experience in administering Company-wide programs.
  • Ability to work effectively with others in a collaborative work environment.
  • Must be able to perform routine administrative duties.
  • In-depth knowledge of Company procedures and Industry-related standards, codes and practices, and applicable Federal and State regulations.
  • Experience in executing and administering Company-wide programs.
  • Ability to work effectively with others in a collaborative work environment with personal skills necessary to maintain a good rapport with internal and external customers.
  • Must be highly motivated and able to work with minimum supervision.
  • Incumbent must be able to handle rapidly shifting priorities and multiple projects concurrently.
  • Work in a functional team with peers geographically dispersed across the Division.
  • Interface with management and field personnel to ensure uniformity and continuity and to promote customer service.
  • Multi-skilled background in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronic and Control systems for natural gas compression facilities. 
  • Personal skills necessary to maintain a good rapport with internal and external customers.

    Preferred Skills: 
  • Multi-skilled background in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronic and control systems for natural gas compression facilities
  • Operational and theoretical understanding of electronics.
  • Special Characteristics/Job Requirements: 
  • Subject to call-out 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
  • Subject to hazardous conditions including escaping gas, adverse weather conditions and temperatures, heights, high-pressure gas, heavy lifting and cramped conditions.
  • Must have a proven safe driving record, and incumbent is subject to U.S. Department of Transportation Drug & Alcohol related regulations.
  • New hires to the Company will be required to take and pass a pre-employment drug test and are subject to a background check.
  • Position will be filled at appropriate level based on skill and experience.
