Summary:
Energy Transfer is seeking an experienced MECM/SCCM Administrator with a forward‑looking mindset and a strong understanding of emerging technologies to help transform service delivery within the Client Management organization. The Senior Specialist role is a hands‑on technical position within the Client Management team, where the successful candidate will make an immediate impact by leveraging current solution sets while collaborating closely with teammates, cross‑functional IT partners, and customers to develop and implement well‑structured, low‑risk solutions within aggressive timelines and with minimal service disruption.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Administer and manage Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM/SCCM) infrastructure, including site system roles and distribution points, with integration to Azure AD, co‑management, and Cloud Management Gateway (CMG) to support internet‑connected devices.
- Manage VMware and XenServer VDI environments and support Citrix Virtual Desktop platforms across corporate and air‑gapped Secure SCADA/Gas Control environments, providing Tier 3 VDI support for SCADA and Butane technicians.
- Package and deploy enterprise client applications using PowerShell AppDeploy Toolkit (PSADT) and Microsoft application deployment tools (AdminStudio/Wise, MECM/SCCM).
- Manage Windows device provisioning and lifecycle processes, including operating system deployment (OSD) and upgrades using MECM task sequences, Windows Autopilot enrollment, vendor coordination, and deployment of standardized applications and settings via Intune Win32 apps.
- Develop and maintain Windows PowerShell scripts to automate deployment, configuration, remediation, and operational tasks.
- Engineer, administer, and troubleshoot Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM/SCCM) at an enterprise level, supporting client devices and site infrastructure, including primary site servers, role servers, distribution points, SQL databases, and log analysis.
- Deliver core endpoint management services, including OS deployment, servicing, patching, replication, inventory, reporting, software metering, and power management.
- Manage local workstation administrative access and privilege elevation using Microsoft LAPS and BeyondTrust Endpoint Privilege Management (EPM).
- Maintain and deploy Group Policy Objects (GPOs) across multiple domains, impacting client devices and end users.
- Manage mobile device management (MDM/MAM) using Microsoft Endpoint Manager (Intune), providing support for Android, iOS, tablets, and rugged/tough‑book devices.
- Provide desktop, laptop, and mobile computing solutions to support both office and field environments, including real‑time operational applications used for pipeline measurement and management.
- Resolve ServiceNow incidents escalated to Tier 3, delivering advanced technical troubleshooting and resolution.
- Manage enterprise endpoint patching and security compliance, including monthly Microsoft security updates, third‑party application updates (e.g., Chrome, Office 365), and ongoing maintenance of System Center Endpoint Protection (SCEP/Windows Defender).
- Remediate MECM/SCCM client and SCEP client issues on corporate and remote workstations.
- Manage endpoint data protection and recovery, including backup of locally stored data for legal hold requirements and file restoration using Veeam Backup and Druva.
- Manage remote support and screen‑sharing tools, including Dameware and BeyondTrust Remote Support, to enable secure remote assistance and troubleshooting.
- Upgrade and maintain endpoint management tools and supporting infrastructure to ensure service reliability and scalability.
- Manage project schedules and priorities to ensure on‑time and on‑budget delivery of endpoint and client‑management initiatives.
- Plan, test, and maintain Disaster Recovery (DR) and Business Continuity (BC) procedures for endpoint services.
- The ideal candidate must have 5-8 years of experience with the latest versions of SCCM and MECM, and related technologies.

- The ideal candidate must have 5-8 years' experience with the latest version of SCCM, MECM, and related technologies.
- Need to be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Candidate must be able to work under deadlines and quick turnaround projects like Mergers and Acquisitions.
- Ability to maintain a positive and friendly attitude all the time
- Strong service orientation required
Required experience is commensurate with the selected job level:
- The Senior IT Specialist level requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and 5-8 years of relevant job related experience
- The Lead IT Specialist level requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and 8+ years of relevant job related experience
- The Principal IT Specialist level requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and 10+ years of relevant job related experience.

- Usually, normal office working conditions.
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time due to prolonged periods of sitting or standing.
- Occasional overnight travel may be required.
