Sr Trader
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
2 - 5 years of natural gas trading, marketing, or commercial experience within the energy sector.
Strong understanding of:
- Natural gas fundamentals and regional supply/demand drivers
- Pipeline and storage infrastructure
- Physical and financial trading instruments
- Price‑risk management and derivatives
- Transportation logistics and scheduling concepts
Preferred
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute commercial strategies that create measurable value.
- Experience with commercial modeling (Excel), discounted cash flow analysis, and statistical evaluation.
- Established network of industry contacts across producers, marketers, utilities, and counterparties.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills with the ability to operate in fast‑moving markets.
