The Cleburne station operator is responsible for keeping the residue gas from Godley Plant flowing as well as keeping the overflow of power plant gas from the Wolf Hollow Facility. This is a crucial facility in the operation with capacities of up to 1.2 BCFD.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 
  • Accountable for safe & efficient operations of compression facilities.
  • Maintain acceptable maintenance requirements in order to maximize unit availability and efficient operations.
  • Responsible for supporting installation, performing general day to day activities, scheduling and performing required PM’s, supporting overhauls, and maintaining related code compliance equipment.
  • Operate, troubleshoot, maintain, small repair and assist in routine maintenance of gas compression equipment.
  • Equipment reading and perform routine equipment checks. 
  • Perform and keep records of DOT/EPA Maintenance procedures.
  • Able to read and understand flow, piping and instrumentation drawings and schematics.
  • Capable of self-directed work, planning and organizing work. 
  • Will require to be on call nights and weekends on a rotating basis, some overtime is required. 
  • Able to support existing call out/on-call requirements.
Required Education:
  • High school diploma or GED

Required experience is commensurate with the selected job level:

  • Level C requires a minimum of 0 – 2 years of relevant industry experience or equivalent work experience
  • Level B requires a minimum of 2 – 4 years of relevant industry experience or equivalent work experience
  • Level A requires a minimum of 4+ years of relevant industry experience or equivalent work experience

Working Conditions:

The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. 

  1. Frequent exposure to heat, cold, and other adverse weather conditions
  2. Working conditions may include confined spaces
  3. Repetitively standing, walking, bending, stretching, reaching over shoulder height, and climbing ladders up to 25 feet.  Occasionally lifting up to 50 lbs with or without assistance
  4. Work in and around industrial and construction settings, which may include hazardous products, processes, materials and chemicals, as well as extreme temperature conditions and loud machinery, and may require appropriate personal protective equipment
  5. Reliable attendance at work
  6. Occasional overnight travel may be required.
