This position will be responsible for providing the efficient and safe operations of a Natural Gas Liquids Storage facility. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Assisting with the day-to-day operations of the terminal, valving, meters, and small process units
- Operate a propane terminal with rail and truck loading/unloading facilities.
- Perform various tasks including but not limited to periodic inspections of equipment and troubleshoot process-related issues to submit proper work requests.
- Maintain the grounds including general maintenance, painting, mowing, snow plowing, etc.
- Comply with OSHA 1910.119 PSM regulation as it applies to Green Springs operations.
- Complete required computer-based training (CBTs)
- Occasionally travel to work or field locations and/or attend meetings and trainings.
- Complete product movement lineups, quality control sampling, maintain hourly logs, equipment inspections and site security
- Complete daily work permits for construction and operations and some third parties working in the facility
- Identify, report and correct safety, environmental, and operational concerns
- Complete appropriate documentation during shifts
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Ability and willingness to work 12 hour shift
Required Skills (External)
Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proficiency with MS Office products
- Demonstrated self-starter
Able to work independently with minimal supervision and with a small, dyanmic team in a fast-paced environment
Good verbal and written communication skills
Comfortable using a truck with plow, tractor, and industrial forklift
Ability to respond within 1 hour when on-call
