Energy Transfer - We are one of the largest Master Limited Partnerships with one of the most diversified portfolios of energy assets in the United States, totaling more than 71,000 miles of natural gas, crude oil, natural gas liquids and refined products pipelines, traversing 36 states with associated terminalling, storage and fractionation facilities.

 

 

Primary Responsibilities:

The duties of this position include but are not limited to the following:

 

• Manage trucking operations, maintenance, and human resources for truck stations/hubs in the Hearne, TX area.

• Manage overall HES performance and ensure policies and procedures are followed.

• Develop operational and capital budgets.

• Accountable for controlling costs by managing expenditures and improving productivity and operational efficiencies.

• Ensure facilities are maintained in accordance with Energy Transfer Partners standards.

• Provide supervision for drivers within the Hearne, TX area.

• Responsible for expense, capital budgets monitoring and input.

• Strong interface and support required with the Marketing manager and crude representative.

• Interface with the Crude Trucking Customer Service group on a regular basis.

• Accountable to the lease group for customer service and support.

Requirements:

Education and/or Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements for this position are listed below:

  • HS Diploma, Bachelor's or equivalent work experience
  • 8+ years of experience
  • Must be adept at coaching and developing supervisory talent from within the existing ranks.
  • Must have excellent computer skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written and good interpersonal skills
  • Must be willing to travel extensively throughout the geographic area.
  • Must be a team player and willing to build and use synergies between other trucking areas and companies within Energy Transfer.
  • Ability to be a self-starter and have a willingness to work without direct supervision.

Preferred Qualifications:

Education and/or Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • College degree (business, financial, technical, transportation)
  • 3+ years’ operations and management experience in crude trucking or other over/off road trucking operations.
