This position will be responsible for supervising the monthly close process and consolidation for one or more entities, including the preparation of financial statements.  

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Prepare Forms 10Q and 10K
  • Consolidate Financial Statements on a monthly basis.
  • Participate in preparation of quarterly SEC filings.
  • Assist with annual audit and quarterly reviews.
  • Perform research to ensure compliance with GAAP and SEC reporting requirements.
  • Supervise the daily responsibilities and development of FTEs.
  • Responsible for rectifying any questions/concerns for the day-to-day activity of the FTEs.
  • Special projects as assigned.


Education and/or Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job duty satisfactorily. The requirements for this position are listed below: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field
  • CPA designation
  • 8+ years of relevant industry or public accounting experience.
  • Prior supervisory experience.
  • Knowledge of SEC and accounting rules/regulations
  • Strong knowledge of US GAAP.
  • Solid time management skills; ability to handle multiple projects, meet deadlines and function independently and efficiently in a fast paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Problem solving with ability to recognize issues and deal with them directly.
  • Personable, positive and enthusiastic attitude with capability to deal effectively with people. Ability to communicate clearly, verbally and written.
  • Excellent organization skills and work habits.
  • Sense of initiative with desire to become truly involved in the business.
  • Flexibility with ability to work in a team setting supporting several people.
  • Highly proficient with Microsoft office applications.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • SAP and BPC knowledge
  • MBA
Working Conditions:

The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.

  • Usually, normal office working conditions.
  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time due to prolonged periods of sitting or standing.
  • Occasional overnight travel may be required.
  • Occasional visits to industrial/manufacturing settings, which may include exposure to various materials and chemicals, as well as extreme temperature conditions and loud machinery, and require appropriate personal protective equipment.
