Requirements:

Education and/or Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: 

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements for this position are listed below:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting 
  • 8+ years of experience, including experience in fixed assets accounting 
  • 2+ years of Supervisory/Lead experience 
  • 2 years of Natural Gas Industry Experience
  • Advanced Excel Skills 
  • Flexibility with the ability to work and lead in a team setting.
  • Strong customer relations skills and the ability to work within the department, with management, external departments and consultants.
  • Self-starter with strong verbal & written communication skills.

  • Strong analytical & organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Solid time management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects & meet deadlines, and function independently & efficiently in a fast paced environment
 
Preferred Qualifications:
  • CPA Certification
  • SAP
  • Exposure to PowerPlan Fixed Assets

Working Conditions: 

The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.

 

 

1. Usually, normal office working conditions.

2. Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time due to prolonged periods of sitting or standing.

3. Occasional overnight travel may be required.
