We are looking for a night driver for fuel delivery within 100 mile radius. The selected candidate will be responsible for the loading, transporting, and unloading of petroleum products at Sunoco/Allied Energy and customer locations. The driver must have a strong commitment to safety, environmental compliance, DOT regulations and obeying federal, state, and local laws.
  • Conduct pre and post trip inspections of all equipment to ensure that all mechanical, safety, and emergency components are in good working order
  • Provide safe and timely transportation of freight from origin to destination
  • Comply with all company and customer safety and delivery requirements
  • Be able and willing to work and scheduled hours, including weekends, holidays, and inclement weather days
  • Wear FRC and PPE as required
  • Report any accident or incident involving employee and/or company equipment as soon as possible
  • Other task assigned by Supervisor or corporate personnel
  • Will slip seat with a day driver


  • Safety Focused
  • Must be able to read and speak English sufficiently to understand highway traffic signs and signals
  • Be able to respond to official inquiries and to make entries on required reports and records
  • Must be able to demonstrate the safe operation of the vehicle assigned
  • Must have sense of urgency, strong work ethic and positive attitude



  • Must have a Class A CDL with Tanker and Hazmat endorsements
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Must meet qualifications for a Transportation Workers Identification Credential (TWIC)
  • Must meet qualifications for a Doraville, GA badge
  • Must be able to lift petroleum hoses with product in them to properly "walk" and "drain" them
  • Must be able to work weekends and holidays
  • Knowledge of surrounding area helpful
