Education and Experience:

 

• A minimum of a High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent is required.
• 3+ years’ operations in crude trucking or other over/off road trucking operations.
• Must have excellent computer skills.
• Must be willing to travel extensively throughout the geographic area.
• Must be a team player and willing to build and use synergies between other trucking areas and companies within Sunoco.
• Ability to be a self-starter and have a willingness to work without direct supervision.
• Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills, and good interpersonal skills.
• The incumbent is required to maintain a valid driver license for the State of residency with a good driving record.

 

Knowledge Skills / Technical Requirements:

 

Detailed knowledge of working crude oil is required.
Requires prolonged walking, sitting, bending, stooping and telephone communications. Must be able to work in severe weather conditions. Ability to lift 50 pounds regularly and 100 pounds occasionally. Ability to climb ladders and maneuver in small spaces. Ability to stand for long periods of time. Approximately 80% of time on the job is spent standing up. Requires on call availability at all hours. Requires ability to respond to emergencies at all hours. Extensive travel by vehicle in a geographic area.
