Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Perform all aspects of warehouse functions while rotating through receiving, stocking, replenishments, and special handling and warehouse operations. Receive incoming shipments of supplies from outside vendors; verify accuracy of items and quantities in relation to packing slip.
- Stock warehouse shelves with inventory.
- Operate forklifts, stand-up lifts, and other warehouse equipment while maintaining safety standards at all times.
- Adjusts storage space assignments to handle daily flow of finished product
- Must be familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures for warehousing needs.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Performs a variety of tasks
- Must adhere to company policies and procedures
- Works under general supervision.
- Performs other functions/duties as required.
Required education or minimum level:
Experience:
- 2-4 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
Software Knowledge:
- Basic computer, Microsoft office and/or any other software requested by department.
Skills:
- Basic knowledge of shipping and warehousing required.
- Ability to count, read and write numbers, and read packing slips.
- Attention to detail and ability to find and correct errors.
- Ability to take instruction, follow direction and meet productivity standards.
Physical Power:
- Able to stand for prolonged periods.
- Able to bend, climb, and lift up to 50 pounds regularly and 75 pounds occasionally, using appropriate lifting techniques and tools.
