Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

 

  • Perform all aspects of warehouse functions while rotating through receiving, stocking, replenishments, and special handling and warehouse operations. Receive incoming shipments of supplies from outside vendors; verify accuracy of items and quantities in relation to packing slip.
  • Stock warehouse shelves with inventory.
  • Operate forklifts, stand-up lifts, and other warehouse equipment while maintaining safety standards at all times.
  • Adjusts storage space assignments to handle daily flow of finished product
  • Must be familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures for warehousing needs.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Performs a variety of tasks
  • Must adhere to company policies and procedures
  • Works under general supervision.
  • Performs other functions/duties as required.

Required education or minimum level:

  •  High school education or (GED)

Experience: 

  • 2-4 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.

Software Knowledge:

  • Basic computer, Microsoft office and/or any other software requested by department.

Skills: 

  •  Basic knowledge of shipping and warehousing required.
  • Ability to count, read and write numbers, and read packing slips.
  • Attention to detail and ability to find and correct errors.
  • Ability to take instruction, follow direction and meet productivity standards.

Physical Power:

  • Able to stand for prolonged periods. 
  • Able to bend, climb, and lift up to 50 pounds regularly and 75 pounds occasionally, using appropriate lifting techniques and tools.
