Summary

Energy Transfer Crude Marketing is currently seeking a dynamic, personable, and professional Crude Marketing Services Analyst in the Crude Marketing Accounting department. This position supports the Crude Oil Acquisition and Marketing segment. The position will involve working closely with several internal groups and external customers. It resides in the back office of the organization.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Respond to customer inquiries pertaining to pricing, production, ticketing issues, etc.
  • Responsible for problem solving efforts around production, accounting, payment, or system setup issues
  • Work cross-functionally with Scheduling, Pipeline Accounting, Division Order, Lease Accounting, Regulatory Accounting, Trucking, Ticketing and Marketing groups to ensure business goals and objectives are being met
  • Monthly responsibilities include working with facility maintenance, allocations, production reports, contract reviews, run statement generation, pricing analysis and miscellaneous customer issues
  • Monthly reconciliation between accounting and production systems to ensure accurate customer statements and payments
  • Identify areas for improvement and develop new processes to enhance efficiency and productivity
  • Create and deliver comprehensive training programs of new processes to team members
  • Create and provide analysis of ad hoc reports as requested by management

Requirements
Education and/or Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job duty satisfactorily. The requirements for this position are listed below:  
  • Bachelor’s degree (accounting, finance, or business related) or additional related experience.
  • 3+ years of experience
  • Self-starter who can work autonomously in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Able to adapt to rapidly changing priorities during high paced environment
  • Highly detailed and deadline oriented
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task

Required experience is commensurate with the selected job level:

  • The Specialist/Analyst level requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and 2-5 years of relevant job related experience
  • The Senior Specialist/Analyst level requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and 5-8 years of relevant job related experience

 Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (intermediate to advanced Excel skills preferred)
  • Knowledge of RightAngle, SAP, PRA, and Salesforce
Working Conditions:
The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
  • Usually, normal office working conditions. 
  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time due to prolonged periods of sitting or standing. 
  • Occasional overnight travel may be required. 
  • Occasional visits to industrial/manufacturing settings, which may include exposure to various materials and chemicals, as well as extreme temperature conditions and loud machinery, and require appropriate personal
