Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to walk, sit, talk, and hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand, use hands to handle or feel objects or perform tasks requiring finger dexterity, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. Vision requirements include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. The employee must also operate heavy equipment, climb 48’ tanks, railcars, and other transport equipment, and wear protective equipment including respirators. Manual tasks such as tank gauging, tank sampling, and line pigging are required.

The majority of work is performed outdoors in all weather conditions, with limited time spent in an office setting. The noise level in the work environment is typically moderate.
