Summary:

Energy Transfer is looking for an experienced SCCM administrator with an eye towards the future with newly emerging technologies that will assist to transform the delivery of services within the Client Management's area of responsibility.  The Sr. Specialist position is a hands on technical role within the Client Management team, qualified candidates will have an immediate impact utilizing current solution sets and should be able to closely collaborate with team members, other IT teams and customers to develop robust, well organized plans to implement solutions within short time-frames with minimal risk and interruption of service. 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Packaging and deploying all client applications with PowerShell AppDeploy Toolkit and Microsoft tools (PSADT/AdminStudio/Wise, Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager MECM/SCCM)
  • Operating System Deployment (OSD) and Imaging client computers using MECM / MDT Task Sequences.  Upgrading Windows 10/11 OS to latest version using Task Sequences and Feature Updates.
  • Windows Autopilot and working with vendors like HP for device enrollment. Creating Intune Apps in Win32 format for deploying standard Image Core Apps and settings to Autopilot devices.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows PowerShell scripting for task automation.
  • Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager MECM/SCCM Administration and managing Infrastructure including site system roles and Distribution Points.  This includes integration with Azure Cloud Services like Azure AD, Comanagement, and Cloud Management Gateway to manage internet connected devices.
  • Troubleshoot all aspects of Configuration Manager issues related to client devices, supported servers, logs, SQL, distribution points, role servers and the Primary Site server.
  • Effectively engineer at an enterprise level all aspects of Configuration Manger to include but not limited to: OS deployment, servicing, patching, replications, SQL queries, inventory, reporting, software metering, and power management
  • Managing local workstation admin rights and privilege elevation using tools such as Microsoft LAPS and BeyondTrust Privilege Management
  • Maintain and deploy GPOs, across multiple domains, which affect the client machines or end users
  • Managing and providing support for mobile devices, tablets and tough books/rugged notebooks using Microsoft Endpoint Manager (Intune)
  • Providing desktop/laptop/mobile solutions for different functionalities required from the main offices and field locations (where several real time applications run on the client machines, for measurement and management of the pipelines)
  • Resolving Remedy incident tickets that are escalated for Tier 3 support from the Service Desk
  • Patching all the client machines monthly with the Microsoft Security updates and other third-party application updates (Chrome/Firefox)
  • Maintain the System Center Endpoint Protection (SCEP) and make sure the Anti-virus definitions/signatures are up to date all the time.
  • Remediate MECM/SCCM client and SCEP client issues
  • Backup the data stored locally on the client machines and provide restore services using Veeam Backup
  • Setting up and managing the remote management tools and standards using Dameware
  • Upgrading and maintaining all the tools and infrastructure necessary to provide the above services
  • Managing a schedule to assure projects are completed on time and within budget
  • Planning and testing the DR/BCP procedures
  • The ideal candidate must have 5-8 years’ experience with the latest version of SCCM, MECM and related technologies.

  • The ideal candidate must have 5-8 years’ experience with the latest version of SCCM, MECM and related technologies.
  • Need to be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Candidate must be able to work under deadlines and quick turnaround projects like Mergers and Acquisitions.
  • Ability to maintain a positive and friendly attitude all the time
  • Strong service orientation required

Required experience is commensurate with the selected job level:

  • The Senior IT Specialist level requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and 5-8 years of relevant job related experience
  • The Lead IT Specialist level requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and 8+ years of relevant job related experience
  • The Principal IT Specialist level requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and 10+ years of relevant job related experience.

Working Conditions:  The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.  

  1. Usually, normal office working conditions.
  2. Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time due to prolonged periods of sitting or standing. 
  3. Occasional overnight travel may be required.
