Summary

Responsible for the inventory management of network and telecom related assets; and the administration of the Business Continuity
Department.

Inventory Management:

  • Manage all active inventory for network team
  • Manage the full life cycle of equipment
  • Manage the entire Purchase Order process
  • Submit Software Requests
  • Submit SAP material creation requests 
  • Organize and maintain inventory rooms
  •  Run daily reports
  • Submit Transfer Purchase Order requests
  • Maintain inventory management systems and documentation to accurately track orders, inventory levels, deliveries, goods received and material numbers
  • Maintain all Excel trackers
  •           Update all AM forms as neededReceive and issue equipment- light lifting required (up to 20 lbs)
  •           Review all requests for accuracy
  •           Submit all transfer, reversals and reclass requests
  • Work with necessary departments on a daily basis
  •           Prepare for, and assist during ITAM Audits
  •           Coordinate end of life pick-ups and enter disposal Change Requests for approval
  •           Audit network team tickets for accuracy
  •           Manage integration of network devices from all newly acquired companies
  •          Coordinate hardware returns to vendor (RMA)
  •          Manage and submit tickets for lost equipment
  •          Oversee accuracy of stale asset list
  •          File all documentation
  •          Enforce procedures
  •          Monitor and update procedures as needed
  •         Technical reporting
  •          Respond timely to inquiries and requests
  •          Coordinate schedules with team members to ensure coverage
  •         Address quality issues in asset data, involving ITAM and Remedy teams as needed
  •         Maintain standards and company KPI/KBO
  •          Other duties as needed

BCP MANAGEMENT SUPPORT

  • BCP Application Administration
  • Coordinate yearly activities
  • Runbook Updates
  • BIA Updates
  • Technical Testing
  • Business Testing
  •  Assist with audits
  •  Maintain all BCP plans
  • Meet with department managers
  • Grow current BCP Plan
  • Record all necessary information
  • Support any BCP events and critical personnel
  • Maintain back-up datacenter, located in Carrollton Texas
  • Submitting access requests

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or relevant job experience and 5-8 years’ experience in Asset / Inventory Management                                                                    
  • Strong organization skills
  • Ability to work closely within a small team
  • Excellent communication
  • Timely responsiveness
  • Extensive experience with Excel (V-Lookup formulas, drop-down lists, and other basic formulas)
  • Extreme attention to fine details; accuracy
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
  • Sense of urgency
  • Strong data management, analysis and research skills
