Analyst - Contract Administration

Summary: This position works in the Interstate Contract Administration Group reporting to the Director, Contract Administration. This position supports Florida Gas Transmission Company, LLC and is responsible for processing requests for transportation contracts, establishing receipt/delivery points and legal entities for transportation contracts.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Acts as customer contact to initiate transportation contracts.
- Works closely with Commercial Representatives to validate deal terms for entry in the M+ system and generation of contract documents.
- Routes contracts in M+ for required approvals and facilitates contract processing through to complete execution and filing.
- Establishes new legal entities in M+ system, coordinates credit and set-up of entity in accounting system (SAP).
- Establishes new locations in M+ system, coordinating with Facility Planning, Measurement, and Commercial.
- Administration of security access for external customers to the M+ system.
- Administration of designee relationships, delivery point operating accounts, operator balancing agreements, consolidation/aggregation of contracts, and data requests as needed.
- Works on tight deadlines to allow customers to nominate at desired scheduling cycle (five cycles per day).
- Administration of Capacity Release in compliance with tariff and FERC requirements.
- Responsible for administering postings to the pipeline’s Informational Postings website and monitoring Transactional Reports.
- Working with IT to identify and test improvements to M+ business processes.
- Customer training on M+ system capacity release.
- Occasional after-hours, weekend or holiday work is required.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Education and/or Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job duty satisfactorily. The requirements for this position are listed below:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Accounting or related area or additional equivalent experience.
- 2 – 5 years of contract admin or related interstate pipeline experience.
- Customer service skills and/or experience.
- Detail-oriented.
- Ability to meet deadlines in high-stress environment.
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely with various groups internally and externally.
- Ability to multi-task.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Contracts and/or gas industry experience a plus.
Working Conditions:
- Usually, normal office working conditions.
Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time due to prolonged periods of sitting or standing.
- The Associate Specialist/Analyst level requires a Bachelor’s degree and 0-2 years of relevant job related experience
- The Specialist/Analyst level requires a Bachelor’s degree and 2-5 years of relevant job related experience
- The Senior Specialist/Analyst level requires a Bachelor’s degree and 5-8 years of relevant job related experience
