Position Qualifications

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey complex information both verbally and in writing.

  • Demonstrated expertise in preparing, analyzing, and evaluating technical specifications, bids, and contracts.

  • Proven ability to maintain a high level of professionalism and customer service in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

  • Advanced organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, including evaluating alternative solutions and making sound business decisions.

  • Ability to interpret technical documentation, including engineering drawings and specifications.

  • Excellent written communication skills, including the ability to prepare clear, concise, and accurate documentation.

Skills & Abilities

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field or equivalent experience.

  • Minimum of 5+ years of relevant procurement or supply chain experience, preferably within oil & gas, energy services, or industrial manufacturing environments.

  • Experience with ERP/MRP systems required.

  • Industry experience in compression services or rotating equipment strongly preferred.

     

Work Environment & Organizational Impact

This role plays a key part in supporting procurement operations at USA Compression, contributing to cost efficiencies, supplier performance, and overall operational excellence. The position ensures uninterrupted supply chain performance to meet critical field operations and customer commitments.
