Required education:

 

  • High school diploma or GED

  • Associate’s degree in a technical field, such as industrial electronics, is preferred.

     

    Required experience is commensurate with the selected job level:

     

    • Level C requires a minimum of 0 - 2 years of relevant experience in a midstream operations role or equivalent work experience

    • Level B requires a minimum of 2 – 4 years of relevant experience in a midstream operations role or equivalent work experience

    • Level A requires a minimum of 4+ years of relevant experience in a midstream operations role or equivalent work experience

     

    • Must possess a strong technical background and good working knowledge of the operating and maintenance requirements for compressor units, high voltage electric motors and auxiliary equipment and control systems. 

       

    • Computer and basic office software experience and a strong background in the natural gas industry are desired. 

       

    • Effective written and verbal communication are necessary, as well as interpersonal skills to work in a collaborative, asset management work crew environment that includes shared responsibilities, establishing and maintaining good working relationships with others to support team and company objectives, and willingness to work in all areas required. 

       

    • Candidate must exhibit a sense of urgency, individual responsibility, and willingness to accept constantly changing priorities. 

       

    • Must live within 45 minutes of the CS 22 Miami FL, work location. 

       

    • Must have a proven safe driving record, valid Florida drivers license and subject to U.S. Department of Transportation Drug & Alcohol related regulations. 

     

    Working Conditions:

     

    The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.

     

    • Lifting up to 50 lbs occasionally

    • Driving, walking, standing frequently

    • Exposure to adverse weather, cramped conditions and some heavy lifting

    • Visits to industrial/manufacturing settings, which may include exposure to various materials and chemicals, as well as extreme temperature conditions and loud machinery, and require appropriate personal protective equipment

    • Occasional overnight travel may be required

     

    • Subject to hazardous conditions including escaping gas, high voltage, adverse weather conditions and temperatures, heights, high-pressure gas, heavy lifting, and cramped conditions. 

    •  May be required to travel to other company locations for temporary assignments, meetings, and training involving some overnights stays away from home. 

    • Subject to call out 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and extended workdays and/or workweeks. 

    • Will be required to carry cell phone and to participate in a rotating on-call schedule

    • New hires to the Company will be required to pass a pre-employment drug test and are subject to a background check.
