Maintenance personnel will support operations in daily tasks and support a proactive reliability program, ensuring the reliability of equipment with minimal downtime. Ensure  LOTO procedures and all other safety and O&M procedures are followed.


Essential Tasks
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job duties satisfactorily. The requirements for this position are listed below: 

  • General upkeep of facilities and equipment including: engines/compressors, company vehicle, shops and tool rooms.
  • Installation and maintenance of plant, pipeline, and compressor components including mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic components associated with each.
  • Troubleshoot and maintain mechanical equipment associated with Energy Transfer needs.
  • Perform mechanical duties involving operations, trouble shooting, diagnosing and repairing  Equipment Waukesha VHP, White Superior, Caterpillar 398,399, 3500 & 3600 series also Ariel, Ingersoll-Rand, White Superior, Chicago Pneumatic, & Worthington Compressors.
  • Inspect engines, compressors, and mechanical equipment, diagnose problems and determine extent of necessary repairs , perform repairs and routine preventative maintenance (PMs)
  •  Maintain compressor logs, engine hours, diaries, oil sampling /greasing of equipment, maintain parts inventory, lube oils /coolants
  • Knowledge and ability to operate and diagnose issues related to Diaphragm, centrifugal, Positive displacement & multi stage pumps.
  • Read and use drawings and schematics, including Mechanical, Electrical, Pneumatic and P&ID.
  • Support on call schedule
  • Assist as needed with all functions of a pipeline, compressor station or Natural gas plant.
  • Obtain and maintain DOT qualifications for multiple tasks
  • .Willing to accept responsibility and accountability with a positive attitude and be a team player.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Ability to work safely and adhere to all federal, state and company policies and procedures governing safe work practices
  • Ability to meet requirements of State and Federal regulations governing vehicle operations.
  • Other duties as assigned

Required education:

  • High school diploma or GED

Required experience is commensurate with the selected job level:

  • Level C requires a minimum of 0 - 2 years of relevant experience in a midstream operations role or equivalent work experience
  • Level B requires a minimum of 2 – 4 years of relevant experience in a midstream operations role or equivalent work experience
  • Level A requires a minimum of 4+ years of relevant experience in a midstream operations role or equivalent work experience
  • Must live within 45 minutes of the plant location

Working Conditions:

The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.

  • Lifting up to 50 lbs occasionally
  • Driving, walking, standing frequently
  • Exposure to adverse weather, cramped conditions and some heavy lifting
    Visits to industrial/manufacturing settings, which may include exposure to various materials and chemicals, as well as extreme temperature conditions and loud machinery, and require appropriate personal protective equipment
  • Occasional overnight travel may be required
