NDE Technician
Required education or minimum level:
High School Diploma or equivalency
0 - 2 years of experience
Required Skills & Experience:
- Experience in pressure vessel and pipe assessments and be thoroughly knowledgeable in assessment methodologies such as ASME Section VIII Division 1 & 2, ASME B31.3 and ASME Section V
- Knowledgeable with Non-Destructive Examination methodologies such as UT/PAUT, MT, RT, and familiar with the limitations of such type examinations
- Technical background in NDT methods and procedures with five years phased array experience
- Technical certifications including SNT-TC-1A Level 2 in UT (PAUT), MT, and PT
- Experience inspecting welds and fabrication in industrial or pressure equipment environments.
- Familiarity with applicable codes and standards (ASME Section V, Section VIII, B31.3, etc.).
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, weld symbols, and NDE procedures.
