Sr. Right-of-Way Counsel
Education and Experience:
· Education: Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
· Experience: 6+ years’ experience in governmental and administrative law, civil procedure, real estate law, or related. Previous in-house experience with mid-stream real property rights is preferred.
· Licenses and Certifications: Licensed to practice law in the State of Texas is preferred.
Qualifications:
· Excellent drafting skills with real property instruments; demonstrated experience with complicated transactions as it relates to real property.
· Team-player with the ability to work well with business teams and get along with a variety of people; enjoys interfacing with internal and external clients and can adapt with an ever changing corporate environment to maintain a high level of service to business units
· Adaptability and ability to work on a wide range of matters that arise on a day-to-day basis.
· Excellent communication and inter-personal skills.
· Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment with rapidly changing deadlines and priorities.
· Displays a commitment to integrity, professionalism and a sense of humor.
· Provides pragmatic legal advice that reflects an understanding of the business and its key drivers.
