Staff Engineer
Requirements: Education and/or Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements for this position are listed below:
· Bachelor of Science in Engineering, preferably Mechanical or Electrical
· 10+ years of industry experience in engineering supporting rotating equipment
· Knowledge of rotating equipment engineering principles, specifically gas turbines, reciprocating engines, pumps and motors.
· Experience performing Root Cause Failure Analyses.
· Experience supporting a technical audit program.
· Ability to read, understand & develop drawings including one-lines, P&IDs, flow diagrams, schematics, state diagrams, cause and effect tables, and connection diagrams.
· Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Capable of keeping clients updated and writing detailed technical reports. Communicate technical ideas to a wide range of groups.
· Strong team player (i.e. capable of building strong and productive working relationships with all stakeholders as well as fostering collaboration across operating units).
