Control Center Manager
Minimum Requirements:
Valid driver’s license
Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering, Business, or a degree in a related field or equivalent experience in crude oil and/or product pipeline movements.
8+ year’s product movement experience, either as a Pipeline Controller or Scheduler, or alternatively with Supervisory/Management experience within Product Movements department in another related areas.
Must have strong leadership ability, strong PC Skills and strong verbal and written communications skills.
Must be able to communicate effectively with all levels of management, engineers, and SCADA System employees.
General knowledge of the partnership's pipeline systems that are managed out of both Control Centers; must have an understanding of the general engineering principles that are utilized in oil movements, understands the key components to investigating imbalances, understands the generation of interfaces, the causes and prevention of contamination's, the part that pressure and pipeline hydraulics plays in the movements of petroleum products in a pipeline, how to mitigate and deal with mechanical and equipment breakdowns, and must have broad familiarity with the characteristics of product and crude quality specifications that are set by company policy. Incumbent must also have a working knowledge of pipeline SCADA.
Special Considerations:
On call availability 24/7. Must be able to work shiftwork related to a 24 / 7/ 365 operations (if required).

- Usually, normal office working conditions.
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time due to prolonged periods of sitting or standing.
- Occasional overnight travel may be required.
- Occasional visits to industrial/manufacturing settings which may include hazardous materials and chemicals, as well as extreme temperature conditions and loud machinery, and require appropriate personal protective equipment
