We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Procurement Manager to support the Lake Charles LNG (LCLNG) Project (the Project), reporting to the Project Director. This role involves leading and managing all LCLNG procurement activities and ensuring the EPC Contractor’s procurement activities meet schedule, commercial and contractual requirements. The Procurement Manager will utilize LCLNG and Energy Transfer procurement tools and systems, ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, and work closely with operations and ready-for-operations teams to establish long-term service agreements. This position requires a proactive leader with a strong background in procurement management and a proven track record in managing large-scale infrastructure projects. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Lead and manage all LCLNG and Energy Transfer procurement activities for the Project.
- Utilize LCLNG and Energy Transfer procurement tools, systems, and support staff.
- Ensure all purchasing activities comply with LCLNG and Energy Transfer company policies and procedures.
- Ensure EPC Contractor’s procurement activities meet schedule and commercial requirements.
- Justify any change orders resulting from equipment purchase provisional sums in the EPC contract.
- Collaborate with the operations and the ready-for-operations teams to ensure long-term service agreements are established with selected vendors.
- Oversee EPC procurement performance management.
- Monitor and measure EPC logistics, including freight forwarding, equipment transportation to site, and warehousing.
- Ensure EPC Contractor importation and customs compliance.
- Manage LCLNG procurement, including IT Services procurement.
- Common duties include managing supplier relationships, negotiating contracts, and ensuring timely delivery of goods and services.
Essential Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field or equivalent experience.
- 8+ years of experience
- Extensive experience in procurement management, particularly in large-scale infrastructure projects.
- Experience with LNG projects or similar industries is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of procurement processes and tools.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and coordinate across various teams.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Professional certification such as Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) or similar is preferred.
- Experience of complex negotiation and multidiscipline issue resolution
- Familiarity with construction and operations contractual terms and intent.
- Problem solving with ability to recognize issues and deal with them directly.
- Personable, positive and enthusiastic attitude with capability to deal effectively with people.
- Ability to communicate clearly, verbally and written.
- Excellent organization skills and work ethic.
- Sense of initiative with desire to become truly involved in the business.
- Ability to handle complex and highly confidential matters in a mature, professional manner.
- Ability to excel in a variety of environments while interacting with a variety of counterparts from diverse backgrounds, including, when needed, at the Project Site.
- Excellent interpersonal and management skills with the ability to professionally manage a team of procurement professionals.

- Strong computer skills required with strong knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and other web-based systems.
