Sunoco LP is a leading energy infrastructure and fuel distribution master limited partnership operating across 47 U.S. states, Puerto Rico, Europe, and Mexico. Summary

The midstream plant maintenance support team provides administrative support services to the Terminal and Pipeline teams. The Maintenance Planning and Scheduling Specialist will be responsible for managing equipment records in SAP, setting up inspection schedules, and troubleshooting of mobile equipment or technical issues with SAP or RWO application. The person in this role is also responsible for identifying and recommending process improvement opportunities that result in more efficient task execution, data collection and reporting.

Essential Functions:

  • Serve as primary business owner for SAP Plant Maintenance (PM) and related mobile data collection applications supporting Terminal and Pipeline Operations.
  • Configure and maintain planned maintenance and inspection tasks in SAP PM, including new equipment setup and regulatory inspection scheduling.

  • Build, modify, and maintain forms and workflows in mobile data collection applications.

  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements (e.g., PHMSA 49 CFR Part 195) by aligning SAP PM inspection tasks with standards.

  • Act as SME for SAP PM and Inventory processes, supporting field troubleshooting of SAP, RWO, and mobile applications.

  • Provide support for generating regulatory audit packages using “Audit Builder” (OpenText).

  • Collaborate with IT, Operations, Accounting, and Technical Services to implement and improve SAP processes including warehouse setup, spare equipment inventory, work order management, and stock replenishment.

  • Identify and implement process improvements that enhance task execution, data accuracy, and reporting efficiency.

  • Lead/Supervisor is responsible for managing 1-3 direct reports

  

Requirements:
•    Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience.
•    At least eight years of business systems setup and reporting experience.

Preferred Skills

  • Hands-on experience with SAP Plant Maintenance and/or Inventory Management (preventive maintenance, work orders, inventory transactions, warehouse locations).
  • Strong skills in SAP, Microsoft Office, and mobile data collection tools.
  • Detail-oriented with strong data accuracy and organizational skills.
  • Effective communicator across cross-functional teams.
  • Self-directed with ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Experience managing people 

Working Conditions:
The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
•    Usually, normal office working conditions.
•    Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time due to prolonged periods of sitting or standing.
•    Occasional overnight travel may be required.
•    Occasional visits to industrial/manufacturing settings, which may include exposure to various materials and chemicals, as well as extreme temperature conditions and loud machinery, and require appropriate personal protective equipment.
